Martin has also served as the member of the management board of Enterprise Estonia, being responsible for the foreign investment, tourism and export promotion of Estonia. Before that Martin worked as the deputy secretary general on legal and criminal policy at the Estonian Ministry of Justice. Previously, Martin has worked as the chief prosecutor of Tallinn and as a prosecutor at the Office of the Prosecutor General. Martin has published numerous academic articles on law.
